The Great WFH Bra Debate

Just yesterday, we learned that an end is in sight for Australia’s ongoing lockdown. What will help get us there faster is a tracking app which is meant to help the government trace contacts and therefore contain infection rates. So, how do we feel about installing a government-operated tracing app?

Also, what’s the best way to make conversation during iso? A mere “how are you?” might not cut it. And what if all we want to do is complain in response?

Plus, to bra or not to bra? That is the question on many women’s minds at the moment. We discuss.

BONUS: The Year Of The Avocado

In 2012 it was activated almonds. In 2013 it was quinoa and acai bowls. Last year, Kale stole everyone’s hearts. And in 2016, Australia stopped for Avocado. It’s the fruit of the Zeitgeist. On menus in every corner of the country, beloved by hipsters and health nuts alike, you can buy an avocado facial, avocado chips and avocado brownies, and avocado tatts are up 800%. But its influence went far beyond food and fashion. It sparked an intergenerational war. BONUS: The Year The 90's Came Back

Don your best choker. Pull on your denim overalls. Put down Pokemon Go for a minute, and switch Gilmore Girls off the TV, because 2016 was a 90's nostalgia fest. From Full House, to the Spice Girls reunion, why are we suddenly craving the delights of the nineties? It's psychology, of course, and social media. But enjoy it while it lasts because there's a theory that mass nostalgia, the way we've seen it emerge this year, will never happen again. What exactly is Victoria's 'Secret'?

What exactly is Victoria's 'Secret'?

Is she hiding all the plus sized models backstage? This week it’s the Superbowl of fashion, the Victoria’s Secret runway show. Unless you’re hosting in which case, send help, and spike the punch. At what age or stage do you have to take the mantle, and host the bloody thing? Do the smashed avocado generation need to step up?
