#2 - Shocking Tales/High Voltage: Chad Whitmire

In this episode, we sit down with Chad, a multi-talented electrician who has worked in a variety of settings, including a maintenance company, a bank, and few restaurants. We'll hear about the challenges and rewards of working in these different environments and the valuable skills and life experience our guest has gained from working in these different fields. We will start off with a story out of Southern California involving a high voltage electrocution that left one person dead, and another severely burned, and will have Chad break down some of the lingo of the electrical world. In the middle we dive deep into Chads journey to becoming an electrician and his time pursuing a career as a Police Officer, and then transitioning back into the trades. Finally, we'll get an inside look at what it's like to be an apprentice/journeyman electrician and learn some helpful tips for anyone interested in pursuing this career path.
