The Biggest Lie in the SEO Industry (it's Probably the Reason You're Not at the Top of Page 1) - Episode 01

The SEO industry is full of lies, and you have probably heard the biggest lie -- in fact, it might even be the reason you're not at the top of page 1. The biggest lie is this: "content is king." Learn why content is not king, what actually is king, and how you can leverage this to get your website to, and keep it at, the top of the search engines. Furthermore, you will start to learn how the SEO industry really works, and how and why very few people in the world actually do most of the "real" SEO, no matter the agency with which you're working. I have been one of those people for my entire SEO career and, unlike most, can explain it without the BS or the fluff. Perhaps the most important lesson in this episode is this: if you're not at the top of the search engines, your SEO agency is wasting your time and wasting your money. This episode will explain why you are not at the top. It will start to explain what you need to do, and what you need to look for in an agency (if you don't want to do it yourself), if you want to get to the top. And if you want to do it yourself, as opposed to hiring an agency, we will begin to explore that in this episode, and then really look at it in detail starting with episode 3.
