Happy Thursday, June 4th. On today’s show, I share with you a powerful #JorgesEatFit affirmation that Is in my opinion the secret to optimal nutrition and vitality. Over the course of my career, I have written many books on diet, and probably the most important strategy I have discovered is intermittent fasting. The number one reason to embrace a 16-hour fasting or more is the power of autophagy. Autophagy occurs when you allow your body enough “time off” from foods that break your fast. This time off (16-hour or up to 23-hours) allows your body to do housekeeping to improve overall health and prevent disease: I EMBRACE AUTOPHAGY WITH A 16 HOUR (OR MORE) DAILY FAST.
