As the owner of a Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise, Charlie Shabazz knows what it’s like to live life on the sweet side. However, did you know that Charlie didn’t plan on getting into the business of selling cakes at all? She actually started out in a career as a tax consultant who ended up pivoting out of the business due to unexpected happenstance.

Listen as she shares the twist and turns that led her to franchising Nothing Bundt Cakes. We discuss how she overcame her fears, uprooted her life and let go of her safety blanket. From tax professional to store owner, pivoting when necessary in order to keep her dream alive.
