How to Understand the Bible

Why is it some people can understand the Bible and enjoy reading it and others walk away confused and uninterested? Understanding the Bible can feel like a daunting task, but with the right help it can be as easy as watching that next episode on Netflix (ok, maybe not THAT easy). Come learn some very simple, easy to use Bible resources and study tools to understand what the Bible is saying and maximize the time you spend reading it.

Next steps:

• Get a readable translation like the NLT
• Get one or more friends
• Start the Bible project writings of John plan
• Follow the plan, watch the video and read a chapter a day
• Don’t forget to pray for understanding before you read
• Write one interesting thought you had and one application
