01: Premiere of Cat Talk

Swapping humorous cat stories with our guests, finding out interesting cat trivia, and presenting important cat ownership facts, hosts Sefa Urgenc, Marshall Louise, and Paul Higbie (along with Catsigliere Mike Lacy) delve into exotic and under publicized world of cat appreciation. On our first episode our guests were UCBs Alexis Pereira and Matt Grote. Alexis breaks down the struggles of bringing home a new cat and how to deal with a feline with a picky palate, and while doing so he reveals why every bodega owner around his home now thinks he's totes insane. Matt comes clean with his secret obsession: he believes the cartoon Garfield is coded with esoteric messages its author Jim Davis has been subliminally transmitting to the unsuspecting public the last 30+ years. It. Gets. Dark. This episode of Cat Talk was recorded live in New York City at the Experimental Comedy Gallery in Brooklyn.
