This episode had more than its share of technical issues (maybe there were some patriarchal demons messing with us?). Still, it was a meaningful conversation that we hope will empower you all to take charge of your reproductive life, to get informed, and to weigh your options consciously.

WE AWAKE's guitarist Marnie joins us to talk about her experience as a woman in Metal and her choice to get sterilized in her early twenties. We open up about our own choices, how hormonal birth control is sometimes not the best choice, and how the possibility of getting pregnant can have a toll on one's mental health.
