Normal Heartbreak or the Twin Flame Journey?

The main difference between regular heartbreak and the pain you experience from your Twin Flame is that with time, you will get over a regular heartbreak. Since normal heartbreaks are caused by the thoughts in the mind, it is possible to truly overcome it. However, because your Twin Flame is the same soul, you can never get over them. The reason it feels so endlessly painful is because the twin flame journey has activated your core wound. While this can be agonizing at times, Elle explains that it is a necessary part of your journey to ascension.
