Executive Privilege and how current Presidents and former Presidents can use it to their advantage

Many people probably have never heard of a President of the United States being able to use what is called "Executive Privilege". But Executive Privilege is actually a power of a President and Former Presidents can have and use to their discrete. Executive Privilege can be defined as asserting you are withholding particular information or secrets from investigators and any chamber of the U.S. Congress and the Judicial courts as well. Legally, there are many aspects to how a President can use his or her power of Executive Privilege while in their elected office. Though, Former President Trump is trying assert Executive Privilege on behalf of Steve Bannon, a former Trump White House official; from having to testify in front of the House of Representatives January 6th select Committee.
