A conversation with the wonderful Laura Simpkins from Pride Road Architects

Just as Boris announced that children were going back to school, I was fortunate to speak with the fantastic Laura Simpkins, an experienced Architect and mother of 3 wonderful children.

Join us to discuss Laura's career from working in large-scale Architecture Practices, growing a family, weathering the pandemic, giving piano lessons as well as working in the library.

What I loved about our conversation was discussing the real-life journey and obstacles that we all face within Architecture as well as discussing working in the profession from the perspective of a parent.

Laura has now set her own Architecture Practice as part of the Pride Road Architect's franchise which launched during the pandemic and is off to a flying success.
