June Abernathy has been touring the country with a variety of Broadway Musicals as FOH Electrician and Spotlight Supervisor since 1998, most recently with the National Tours of Disney’s The Lion King and SIX the Musical. A graduate of Florida State University, she has worked in the theater in many capacities, including as a Local and Touring IATSE Stagehand, AEA Stage Manager, Speaker, and Author. She is the author of “The Spotlight Operator’s Handbook” and “The Tried and True Book of 101 Spotlight Excuses”.
