Confessions of a Reality TV Dating Show Host ft. Mark L. Walberg (Temptation Island)

Have you ever watched a reality TV dating show and wondered what that poker-faced host is REALLY thinking? As Temptation Island fans and general admirers of its host Mark L Walberg's piercing commentary, we're thrilled he agreed to join us for a Confessions episode! Temptation Island brings on four straight real-life couples who are at crossroads in their relationships, separates them for a month, and has them live with (very forward) straight singles of the opposite sex. It originally debuted in 2001, at the start of the reality TV boom, and was rebooted in 2019.

As the host of a show with an obviously controversial concept, how does Mark navigate the usual trappings of reality TV "trash"? Does he make his own personal predictions about the couples and their outcomes? Does he pick favorites among them? How much does he really know when heading into a "bonfire"? How has Mark's own marriage informed his ability to spot and call out destructive relationship behavior? Mark is a very open and endearingly honest guest, and whether or not you're a fan of Temptation Island, his perspectives on relationships, love, and life are worth listening to.
