Fatal obsession

On a serene morning on the Danish island of Bornholm, tragedy struck. Pediatrician Elisabeth Wæver, known for her life-saving work, shockingly reversed her role as a caregiver by setting a fire that claimed the lives of a mother and her two sons. The pediatrician's hidden jealousy and obsession led her down a path of destruction, stemming from a forbidden affair with the husband of the deceased. In this episode we explore the trial that captured the nation's attention and the deep psychological turmoil that drove Elisabeth to murder.

This episode was produced by Maya Tekeli and Lucas Francis Claver. Narrated by Anemone Rasmussen. Executive producer is Nils Bergman.
