Ardent Run Club: Episode 23 - Gary Jones - Running Changed My Life

On this episode, Tomi speaks with another athlete from the North East who's life literally changed as he got into running. Gary Jones shares his inspiring story about how running turned his life around. He explains that running can help you stop bad habits and improve your physical and mental health. Gary used to do drugs and drink a lot, but running helped him put those habits to sleep and helped him grow and set himself up for a brighter future.

This episode is sprinkled with many nuggets of wisdom for you to absorb in running and in general life.

Gary was been coached by the legen Jim Alder and is currently coached by Chris Waugh, another high level coach in the North East. Gary discusses training, his favourite races, his goals and offers plenty of advice for athletes who want to improve.
