Inside the Mind of an Avoidant

How do avoidant's work? How can you love someone who is so resistant to connection and intimacy? Why do they attract the anxious?

In this episode I open up about feeling lost, stuck, and unworthy. I tell a story of how my inner turmoil is a pattern that has my relationship on the brink of failure and how the current results of my life have been a direct correlation to the wounds of my past.

In an attempt to heal those wounds, I open up about the darkness of my past and try to uncover, analyze and overcome the feelings of shame and guilt hidden in my childhood. Throughout I provide detailed examples of how certain experiences have made me someone who can't trust love and why I yearn so deeply from acceptance from others.

I also discuss why a rampant desire for intimacy with multiple partners could be a potential addiction that needs a deeper look.
