The Good And Proper Order Of The Friends Of Pavel Maliki:

While shopping for supplies, the party notices a strange interaction: a man, clearly a servant of some rich lord, conveys a coded message to the shopkeep by arranging some coins on the counter. Further investigation reveals this to be part of a grand conspiracy among the richest in society, who refer to themselves as "The Good And Proper Order Of The Friends Of Pavel Maliki" and appear to be working toward some mysterious purpose known only to themselves. No matter where the party goes, they find agents of the Friends. No matter how hard they search, they cannot determine the greater purpose of the conspiracy- but clearly, it must be nefarious! Surely this is the sort of thing a group of adventurers should foil! Should the party move against the members of the conspiracy, they will eventually discover the truth: The conspiracy is merely a game, played by the idle rich, in order to entertain themselves. But how far will the party go before they discover the truth? And how many dangerous enemies will they needlessly make in the process?

There’s something special about this eighth of a coin. Any means of identification tell you that it is completely worthless, but when it’s united with another piece, they magically fuse, leaving you to settle who keeps the remaining artifact. As you quest to find the remaining pieces, mind your choices for everything you do has its consequences. With seven pieces, you conjure up the eternal spirit of Pavel Maliki, holding the final bit. And with this completion begins Pavel’s journey, to bring aid to all who had lost their slice of the coin. So beware what you do on your journey, for whatever wrongs you commit will be revisited tenfold upon you, from Pavel, the saviour of the wronged.
