In this episode, Vicky, an artist who sells her work on Etsy, discusses how e-commerce has given her the freedom to pursue her passion while not being tied down to a physical location. She started her Etsy store in 2012 but didn't have the marketing knowledge to succeed at first. In 2021, she relaunched her store using print-on-demand services, which allowed her to offer a wide range of products featuring her designs without holding inventory. Despite facing challenges with learning SEO and finding her niche, Vicky has grown her store to over 250 sales. She emphasizes the importance of resilience, focus, and not giving up too soon when building an e-commerce business. With the right mindset and tools, e-commerce can provide the freedom to work from anywhere and pursue your passions on your own terms.
