Crystallyn Girard

Crystallyn Girard

In 1993, 13-year-old Crystallyn Girard was found dead in her bedroom by her mother Lynn Dejac. The police found Lynn to be a neglectful mother and pinned the murder on her. She was ultimately convicted and sent off to prison. Lynn contended that the likely suspect was her ex-boyfriend Dennis Donahue. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the unsolved murder of Crystallyn Girard. This is a case that took many years to unfold. Cold case investigators were finally able to gather evidence to suggest that Lynn did not murder her daughter. But, would it be enough for a judge to set aside her conviction? And, why would police not go after the suspect that many people believe committed the murder?
