Morning update: Peter Kenyon launches new bid for Newcastle United

Newcastle United are yet to comment on talk of a fresh takeover bid from Peter Kenyon.The former Manchester United and Chelsea supremo is reportedly wanting to take the club off Mike Ashley's hands after failing to get a deal done last year.Kenyon has gone into bat with US-based GACP , who also own Ligue 1 side Bordeaux, and has produced a 46-page brochure detailing his plans.Although, the offer to buy Newcastle is said to only stand at £125million now with further payments taking the deal up to £300million.
