187. THE APPLES IN STEREO'S ROBERT SCHNEIDER REVEALS THE FULL STORY BEHIND HIS RELATIONSHIP TO MUSIC AND ELEPHANT 6

This off-the-cuff interview with Robert Schneider, which went down spontaneously after our Strawberry Alarm Clock conversation concluded, unexpectedly became a tidal wave of incredibly moving, impassioned notions about identity and fulfillment. And although it preceded Will Cullen Hart’s untimely passing, much of it seems to pre-empt the tragic event lying in wait just around the bend.

Here’s just a few of the many things Robert and I discuss in this podcast:

The superfluousness of LSD to the middle-aged brain;
The levels of fulfillment Robert gets from music vs. math at this point in his life;
The background origin story of the Elephant 6 Enthusiasts Facebook Group;
How his musical path will likely look just around the bend;
The massive impact Bill Doss’s death had on his identity;
And Robert’s favorite Apples In Stereo LP.
