Trooper Bukhenik and Lieutenant Tully were in the group chat with Trooper Proctor when he disparaged Karen Read. A scheduling hearing is on the calendar for July 22nd, 2024. The court will hear oral arguments regarding the dismissal of counts one and three on August 9th, 2024. I break down count two in the podcast. The trial is scheduled to begin on January 27th, 2025, to account for the possibility of an appeal. Logan Paul is suing YouTuber Coffeezilla, alleging defamation related to the CryptoZoo project. At the heart of the lawsuit is Coffeezilla’s portrayal of CryptoZoo as a scam, and Paul’s claim that his comments have damaged his reputation. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee has also sued Prime Hydration, a sports drink company founded by social media influencer Logan Paul. The lawsuit alleges that Prime Hydration LLC infringed upon several trademarks of the USOPC including phrasings such as Olympic, Going for the Gold, and Team USA. An injunction is being requested to further prevent infringement of these terms, which may be granted due to the rights the USOPC has over these phrases.
