Kari Morrisey, the prosecutor in the Hannah Gutierrez case, filed a snarky opposition to having a new trial and disagreed with the judge’s decision to dismiss the Alec Baldwin trial. The court has denied the defense’s motions to recuse the prosecutors in the Young Thug case. The defense intends to appeal the decision. The trial resumes on August 12th, and the new judge will ask the jury if they can strike Kenneth Copeland’s testimony. If that can not happen, the judge will declare a mistrial and seek a new jury.
