Max is the International Payroll Manager for Royal Dutch Shell, and he has a proven track record in building adaptable payroll functions that are able to deliver excellent levels of service within its ever-changing global payroll landscape.


Incredibly skilled in the construction of control frameworks for international payrolls, Max developed the pioneering ‘Global Payroll Control Framework (or GPCF for short) which he utilises to align payroll strategies with the overall tax and business strategy of organisations.
