Mayor Bass MIA as Fires Burn L.A.

Why the heck was L.A. Mayor Karen Bass in GHANA instead of L.A. when the fires broke out?! I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Fires are ravaging Southern California and the footage is absolutely gut-wrenching. People- rich, poor, young and old- have lost everything and I cannot imagine how devastated they must feel. And while now is not the time for politicking the matter, it was really hard to look past how utterly inappropriate, tone deaf, and ridiculous it was that L.A. Mayor Karen Bass was in Ghana as the fires burned. And not just in Ghana, on a taxpayer funded trip to Ghana to celebrate a presidential inauguration. She is back now and not a moment too soon but, um, why the heck are taxpayers footing the bill for that in the first place?! Now I get it, the supposed “diplomatic” trip was pre-planned and she didn’t know there would be an outbreak of wildfires but that brings me back to my original point, WHY WAS SHE IN GHANA IN THE FIRST PLACE?!!! From top to bottom, California is run by fools and I pray they can get their acts together fast enough to serve and protect their constituents in a devastating time such as this.
