It was a mystery that made headlines coast to coast nearly a decade ago. How did a dead bear cub end up in New York's Central Park? Well, the mystery is solved and the culprit is non-other than presidential hopeful Robert Kennedy Jr. He admits he and some friends dumped the bear and then staged the scene to make it look like it was hit by a bicycle. And in what may very well be her final Olympics routine ever, Simone Biles took home a silver medal today in the women’s floor exercise final. Perhaps it was distractions from the crowd that stopped her from winning another gold, at one point she was seen complaining to the crowd they were shushing so loud it was throwing her off. Plus, she's the teacher who was found dead on her kitchen floor with 20 stab wounds. It’s been ruled a suicide, but her parents don't buy it. For more than a decade they've been on a mission to get the case reopened...and today they are smiling. Ann Mercogliano tells us why. And when you go into politics you have to be ready for every piece of dirty laundry from your past to resurface...and that's the case for Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff. He's admitting there were tough times in his first marriage - after a report claimed he cheated on his first wife with his daughter's teacher. Inside Edition reports…President Trump’s first public remarks to reporters since inciting the crowd last Wednesday just before the riot at the Capitol building. Five months after Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman lost a very private battle with colon cancer, his widow accepted an award on his behalf. The PGA has voted to move its championship match next year away from Trump’s New Jersey golf course. It’s a clear sign that the Trump brand is in crisis. And a herd of elk were recently seen galloping down a beach in Oregon. Inside Edition reports…However terrible you think the siege of the U.S. Capitol was, it’s worse than you thought. There are legislative attacks on Donald Trump’s hold on the White House. While some of the rioters were head-to-toe in combat gear, others were decked out in bizarre combinations of furs, face paint, and tattoos. Did those outfits exacerbate the mayhem? And America’s cities are swamped with cars now that so many people are avoiding public transportation. What the cities don’t have are enough parking spots which has led to short tempers when it comes to nabbing a parking space. Inside Edition reports…It’s the day after the attack on the U.S. Capitol and there remains stunned disbelief over the unprecedented incursion into the seat of American democracy. There are also a lot of questions about President Trump’s role, the failure of security to protect the Capitol, and why so few people have been arrested. The rioters who were inside the Senate chamber and congressional offices are being called out for, as one senator put it, desecrating a sacred place. The attack on the Capitol is being called one of the darkest days in our history and the whole world is watching with a number of nations gloating over seeing our democracy being threatened. And quick-thinking congressional aides rescued the Electoral College ballot boxes moments before the mob entered the Senate chamber. Now they’re being celebrated for saving the day.
