A new poll shows 7 in 10 Americans plan to watch tonight's presidential debate and 30% say it will help them decide how they're going to vote. The stakes truly couldn't be higher for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, they will be face-to-face. Or more accurately, fingertip to fingertip - the podiums are that close! And you may recall the two Spirit Airline gate agents who freaked out and started screaming at frustrated passengers who's flights had been delayed. The agents were fired, and now they're breaking their silence in an exclusive national TV interview with our Jim Moret. Plus, everyone knows what sank the Titanic…and when a ship hit a much smaller iceberg in Alaska - you couldn't blame passengers for thinking of that other boat. And he had run in lots of marathons and was a big Disney fan - so when Disneyland announced a half marathon he was eager to go, despite temperatures being over 100. Then just as he was approaching the finish line – tragedy as he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. Ironically, just the day before the race, he posted a video about the California heat. Jim Moret reports, the victim was an experienced pilot who apparently suffered a heart attack. And we've told you about the alarming number of women who have been sucker punched while on the streets of New York. Cops say most of the attacks are not related. Along with the increase in attacks, there has been an increase in women taking classes in self-defense. The rules are clear – don’t let anyone ride in a trailer being pulled by a car, and this tragedy happened as one family journeyed to see the eclipse. As Jim Moret reports, a pediatrician was thrown out the door of their Airstream as it was travelling down a road. And it was the critical thing that everyone reporting on the eclipse stressed – “don’t look directly at the sun!” As expected, not everyone heeded the warning. Plus, The University of Connecticut’s men’s basketball team won its second consecutive national title last night...and no one was happier than, of all people, actor Bill Murray. And a couple in the midst of a contentious child custody battle were shot and killed inside an attorney's office. Now, we've learned the shooter was the woman's former father-in-law who has terminal brain cancer.
