The frenzy over the apparent drones over New Jersey and elsewhere was unabated over the weekend. Officially the government says it doesn’t know where they're from, but Rosie O’Donnell says she does. She took to social media saying "they're here". To O’Donnell, it’s clear these aren't really drones but aliens from outer space, but is she serious? And the man accused of murdering the CEO of United Healthcare has a new attorney. And before she was retained, she was on tv talking about a possible insanity defense. This comes as President-elect Donald Trump speaks out about the shooting. Plus, the woman who alleges that Jay-Z sexually assaulted her more than twenty years ago when she was 13 is speaking out, admitting there are inconsistencies in her story. And Jay-Z has come out swinging vehemently denying the allegations, filing to dismiss the lawsuit and calling the woman's attorney a '1-800 lawyer.' And last week, President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 criminals, and one in particular is sparking outrage today - a now-former judge who accepted $2.8 million for jailing 2,300 children - some as young as eight. Now one of the outraged moms is speaking out. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. And after years of investigation, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to multiple charges today. President and Mrs. Biden responded… saying they love their son – but this may not be the end of the younger Mr. Biden's legal woes. 111 years ago the Titanic hit an iceberg leading to a disaster that took more than 1,500 lives. Now there's a new search going on at the very same spot in the Atlantic. The Coast Guard has launched a rescue mission for a submarine that went missing during an expedition to the Titanic wreck. And when a houseboat capsized off the coast of Florida…it could have ended in disaster, if not for some very brave good Samaritans who jumped into the rough waters to rescue those trapped inside. Plus, sometimes overzealous fans throw things at their favorite singers. Usually stuffed animals or an article of clothing - nothing that can do much damage...but singer Bebe Rexha just got hit in the face...by a flying cell phone! And for the third year in a row, pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. However, it comes with a warning…you may have heard of players spraining their ankles or wrists, but it can be a lot worse. One man’s life was saved by EMTs after he suffered a heart attack on a pickleball court.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. She was found in the middle of the road after leaving a house party. Did she fall from a moving car…or was she pushed? Plus, you may have heard there was a shooting at the parade celebrating the Denver Nuggets winning their first NBA title in franchise history….but there was more mayhem too. Serious allegations today about UFC star Conor McGregor. On the same night he made headlines for this stunt - punching out a mascot at the NBA finals, a woman says McGregor violently sexually assaulted her in a bathroom at the arena. Now as Les Trent reports, McGregor’s reps are denying the allegation. And, it's happened again. American tourists dead after being found unresponsive at a luxury hotel in Mexico. And once again, authorities suspect they may have died from inhaling carbon monoxide. Jim Moret has more, including what you can do to stay safe. Plus, now an incredible story of bravery and good fortune. A mother and her daughter were hiking when the mom fell down a steep incline. It's Donald Trump’s 77th birthday, and it comes just the day after he became the first president in history to face federal charges. Now we're learning there was a major drama right after he plead not guilty to mishandling classified documents. During a stop at a Miami sandwich stop a reporter yelled out a question Trump's supporters didn't like, so she ended up being dragged out of the restaurant. Steven Fabian has details. And the laws are supposed to apply to everyone, and when a sheriff's deputy spotted a local cop doing 80 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour zone, he did what he'd do to any such driver - he pulled him over. That's when the fireworks started. Plus, here's a word you may have never heard before: touron. It's a tourist who acts like a moron. There are plenty of examples of them out there, but this guy has been such a fool, that Les Trent says there's now a manhunt to find him. And back in the 80's, more than half of all retail sales were in malls. Today malls around the country are closing, and the owners of the biggest mall in San Francisco now say they’re done. In part because of changing consumer habits, but also because rising crime has left shop keepers and shoppers no longer feeling safe. Donald Trump was escorted by motorcade to a Miami courthouse today where he became the first president in history to face federal charges - all in connection to allegations he mishandled highly sensitive documents. Police said they were ready for anything, and that included massive traffic jams, a bomb scare, and a gathering of trump supporters and detractors that turned out to be much smaller than expected. In addition, at one point Fox News reported former First Lady Melania Trump was at her husband's side... but it was a case of mistaken identity. As Ann Mercogliano reports, it's believed Mrs. Trump was more than a thousand miles away in New York where yesterday she was spotted having her hair done and going to the dentist. Plus, he nearly died trying to save his son and his niece in a rip tide. For weeks it was touch and go with former NFL player Peyton Hillis being put on a ventilator. Now, in his first TV interview since - he says there's no doubt in his mind, it's a miracle he's alive. And here hasn't been an incident in its more than 40-year history, and authorities are still trying to figure out why a tourist boat with 29 people on board capsized in an underground cave near the Erie Canal. It’s an accident that left one man dead. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. They say write what you know…but prosecutors say this author took that too far by killing her husband and then writing a book on grief. Today her murder trial began with the defendant wiping away tears....while her attorney's professed her innocence. And tomorrow in Miami Federal Court, former President Donald Trump will be arraigned on 37 charges connected with his handling of highly sensitive documents. Based on the crowd situation the last time Trump was in court, law enforcement in South Florida has been told to be on high alert. Plus, the survival story of the children who survived a plane crash, and then managed to stay alive 40 days in the Amazon jungle is captivating the entire world. Ann Mercogliano on how they did it and the survival lessons they can teach all of us. And did a Frito Lay's janitor really come up with the idea for one of America's favorite snacks?     To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Former President Trump declares he's an innocent man after being indicted on 38 counts of mishandling classified documents. As the bombshell news broke, Melania Trump was spotted in New York while her husband hit the golf course in between shaking up his legal team. Les Trent has the latest. And a dramatic rescue caught on tape. A quick-thinking cop and good Samaritans rush to the aid of a mother and five kids who were t-boned on the highway causing their minivan to flip over. Plus, it's the moment the mother of missing Natalee Holloway has been waiting for - Joran Van Der Sloot, the man she believes killed her daughter, was extradited to the US from Peru to face extortion charges. But the jail he's in on our shores is like Club Med compared to the Peruvian prison he's used to, so there are worries he could escape. And is there really something out there? Two thirds of all Americans believe there are other life forms in the universe... and maybe that's why this has made social media go crazy. A light streak was seen in the sky, followed by people who called 911 saying they saw giant figures in their backyard. So what's going on?!
