Chapter 36:• Orders to continue on to new location for war games or stay and save the village. • They all decide to stay and fight with Xaden, they all reflect on their parents, liam hopes he has an honorable death.• Reflects on her moms dagger as a sign she knows.• Sgaeyl approves of violet and vi says she wasn't asking for your approval, love both of them!• Mira saw wyvern not dragons.• Learn that melgren can't see outcomes with marked ones, Xaden says he does have more secrets but after this he will tell her anything she wants to know, says she still loves him (forgives faster than me lol)• Venin going to the clock tower, why?• Lost soley(can't spell it)• Violet aims for a chest with explosives.• Violet struggling with amount of power, takes out a wyvern. • Xaden badass tuck and roll off of sgaeyl to save the people, uses his shadows as a lasso.• Sgaeyl protects tarin.• Liam says their friends after saving her, Deigh dies, Violet drags Liam to Deigh, makes promise to take care of sloane.• Ends with her unleashing all she can and being a attacked.

Chapter 37:• Excerpt: the third sibling who commands the sky that vanquished his siblings at a terrible price. • Venin on tarin, feels taunted by something she is missing but she has the answer on the tip of her tongue, venin adapts to her moves quickly, broken arm, stabbed.• They want to take her power.• Xaden trusts her to remove shadows, vi misses again and again, close to burn out.• Tarin will not watch another rider die from not knowing their limitations.• Says she knows her limit, but admits she has taken too much power lol.• Uses andarna (sign that she is right she can take on more than naolin), precision strike.• Even at her greatest fatigue, and near death, she thirsts watching xaden, and she falls.

Chapter 38:• Andarna catches her, using the last of her power.• Fear in xaden's eyes, she passes out, black blood.• Taking her to "someone".• When she wakes again, she thinks "i don't want him dead, I'll never want that" 👀• Tarin crying• Xaden kisses her forehead, she's confused bc you don't keep secrets from someone you care about.• Xaden "you can hate me when you wake but you have to live. You can't make me fall for you and then die. Nothing is worth it without you"
