I'm really looking forward to finally learning about so-called "Obama Care" on today's show at 5 pm ET (4 pm CT) with special guest Timothy Foley. So... is it socialism? Is the government going to take over your relationship with your doctor? Is it impossible, un-American, unaffordable? Will it kill business? Why have ideas, that are accepted by the majority of Americans, become so partisan? What is the Supreme Court deciding this week, anyway??? I admit, though my family will be affected by it, I got sick of the fighting over health care, and never bothered to learn about the law. How is your business, state, family, employer, and community going to be affected by the law? Most Americans are missing even the most basic information regarding the law - like the definition of an insurance exchange? While 48% of Americans were unsure about the law's status, or were lead to believe that the law had been repealed, my guest, Timothy Foley, was educating Americans about the actual law. He is the Policy Advisor for Greater NYC for Change, a grassroots organization that worked to rally support for the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Foley has conducted over 70 teach-ins and forums on the Affordable Care Act and the antecedent bills in Congress, as well as the plan by Rep. Paul Ryan on Medicare and Medicaid.
