"Faith and Politics" a "Living Room Conversation"

What is it that you believe about any greater meaning to your life? How do those beliefs relate to your political actions? We are going to pursue these questions and more this October and November as the Coffee Party USA hosts a special series of Living Room Conversations around the intersection of faith and politics. Beginning October 18, Oprah Winfrey presents the seven-night event, "Belief," a groundbreaking television event exploring humankind's ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves. We encourage our Coffee Party USA members to both watch this series as well as consider participating in one of the OWN network sponsored discussion groups being held around the country. Then, join us for one of our Coffee Party USA special conversations on faith and politics. No matter what you believe about why we exist or the meaning of life --- whether you are religious, spiritual, atheist or agnostic --- your thoughts and faith impact your political actions and decisions. Come explore that interaction with us! First, we are holding a series of small conference call “Living Room Conversations” where you will be able to dialogue with others on this topic. Our hosts will guide all of the participants through a set of questions designed to help you understand how your faith in your answers to life’s “bigger questions” relates to your political life.
