Banning TikTok? Take Twitter too.

This was an interesting episode to record, so I imagine it'll be interesting to listen to. It's like the meme joke, "my last two brain cells fighting each other," except this is fully coherent. When you get to my economics definition confusion, ride it out with me. So, what's the overarching message of episode 7? Twitter can also go if we're actually going to ban TikTok. In truth, I have a deeper issue with Twitter than I do TikTok, but that's probably due to me using the former more frequently. I really do enjoy the bird app as a platform and concept, but there are just too many goofballs (word of the day) that are almost too active on there. Social media, as a whole, has taken a weird turn toward public relevance over private relatability; people would rather be seen by the masses than understood by the few. I, for one, look forward to the day when I no longer need the leverage of social media to spread my message. That's the leading reason I started this podcast, so maybe that day has already come. Don't be surprised when the links below no longer include social media; sooner rather than later. In a world where we are infinitely connected, it feels more separated than ever, and we know my mission is unity. I think that starts with us saying bye to these tools used for division daily and bringing connecting back to the real world.
