HEALTHY LIFESTYLE with Host Lori Anne Casdia with Guests Jennifer Ross from HEARTBEET FARMS - ROOT FOR THE BEET. A visionary that started volunteering at a local organic farm. The mission was to donate nourishing food to people. Jennifer's passion for the farm and agriculture came not only from its mission but the opportunity to connect people to where their food was really coming from. Her children's elementary school principal approached her to ask if she could develop a program to help teach students about how to make healthier food choices. The HeartBeet brand was born.

She crafted an education program using 2 characters: Heart & Beet. Later, she leased land at a local farm to create a Community Share Association (CSA), host a mobile farm stand truck, and focus on health and farming education for kids. Most recently, they developed a line of farm to table, plant-based soups, sauce, and salsa and host a large organic garden in Smithtown, New York where they harvest for clients from "garden to bag"
