Your magnificent freedom years. Over 30 years ago, I chose Freeport, The Bahamas to make my home. The beauty and energy of our Island in the sun, Grand Bahama, are healing and rejuvenating. I found very early on that here is where Oneness, and synergy of Body Mind and Spirit are achieved almost effortlessly. The reason is the closeness to all four elements: Earth, Water, Air and Fire (the sun). It was here where I started my Holistic and Spiritual Journey. As a mother of five wonderful children and eight grand children (the number is growing there), it was not always easy to balance family with my passion to study the Healing Arts. I had to make sacrifices that left me with most of my academic efforts on my own, except for short periods of weeks at a time to take hands on courses and write exams. I honor those who had the opportunity to attend highly accredited Universities and have the framed certificates on their walls. I was not that fortunate, but I honor myself as I salute all other serious students that have put countless hours and effort into self motivated studies.I started my studies of Nutrition, Bodywork, Naturopathy, Hypnotherapy, Yoga and Reiki in 1980 and finished most programs by 1990. I became a member of the ‘American Naturopathic Medical Association‘ in 1990 and joined the American Academy for Anti Aging Medicine in early 2000. I still attend at least one international conference per year to learn about the latest research and protocols in Anti Aging, and preventive, non-invasive therapies.
