Marks website: getimpowerednow.com November 29, 2009 I hit rock bottom and weighed 455lbs and had diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety, depression, a mood disorder, an eating disorder, esophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, an abdominal hernia the size of a bowling ball, gout, a 90% loss of feeling in both feet from diabetic neuropathy, a 25% loss of hearing in one ear and a 15% loss in the other, and many other co-morbid states of dis-ease. After doing all of the things that all of the doctors told me to do I was only getting worse. A FIRE IS RISING- In my heart I KNOW I AM SOMETHING MORE. So… I am embarking on another transformation. I am committed to getting to and maintaining both my ideal body weight and optimum body composition. The first step in becoming an elite peak performance athlete is realizing that I have around 40lbs to lose. This will put me at around 210 standing just under 6’1″. My next goal is approximately 8% body fat. I am making some important changes in my diet, training, lifestyle, and career. I am also taking my spiritual practice to the top of my game and further integrating it into my training. This is only the beginning. Three years ago I learned how to not only QUIET MY MIND but FREE MY MIND. At the time of my rock bottom I was in total darkness visible. The hell of my own creation. I assure you that there is no greater prison than the confines of a diseased mind. I fell to the depths of that abyss. Flames that burned so bright they were visible only to me. It has been said that you don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
