Marnie Cromwell, powerful witch and Best Person In The World is back with a new plan to unite the human world and Halloweentown: make a bunch of Halloweentown students attend her high school, in disguise, so that no one knows they're from Halloweentown. But having bet the Cromwell magic that this experiment will work, Marnie soon finds sinister forces of varying levels of attention to detail working against her, and must race against time to have humans accept creatures before midnight on Halloween, lest her and her family not be able to levitate hot cocoa around any more.
