107 - Close Encounters of the CD Kind

In this episode, Savannah and Julie respond to listener and personal DM comments about Significant Ones seeing their enfemme partners for the first time IRL. From cis-female wives' and girlfriends' trepidation and anxiety of the anticipation of seeing her male partners dressed as women in front of their eyes to the male partners' concern and fear of outright rejection, the first in-person interaction between crossdressing men and their female partner can be a scary event. What will happen? Will it go positively or negatively? Will the experience create a better relationship dynamic or a worse one? Will the crossdresser immediately retreat to their closet even if the female partner is accepting and loving? Savannah and Julie peel back the first couple layers of the first reveal onion to. hopefully give their CD and SO listeners something to think and talk about.

SAVANNAH HAUK is the author of “Living with Crossdressing: Defining a New Normal” and “Living with Crossdressing: Discovering your True Identity“. While both focus on the male-to-female (mtf) crossdresser, “Defining a New Normal” delves into crossdressing and relationships and “Discovering Your True Identity” looks at the individual crossdressing journey.
