Breaking The Second

(Apologies: Audio sound quality changes during podcast. I did not realize my external mic turned off during recording and only the computer mic picked up the sound. Not that my productions have great sound anyway. We are a low budget production.) On this episode I discuss my thought on the second commandment and how it relates to images of Jesus. Is it ok for Christians to watch movies, tv shows, and productions with actors playing the role of Jesus? Are nativity scenes a good thing? I do my best to explain what the Bible teaches with some help from the Westminster Larger Catechism. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exodus 20:4 Westminster Larger Catechism Q 109: What are the sins forbidden in the second commandment?
