Georges Island, Massachusetts

Georges Island, Massachusetts

Today we're going south of the border to a city that has won 40 championships over the years including NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL titles. Nicknamed “Beantown,” it's one of the oldest cities in North America’s oldest cities and it played a significant role the birthplace of the American Revolution. In the harbour lie a series of small islands that dot the horizon and one of them is Fort Warren. A Civil War-era fort that was used as a training site and prison. In this episode we share the story of its most famous residents.
