EP 20: Are You Kid-ing Me!? | Daniel Bartlam and Mary Bell

Leave the murdering to the adults, kids! God, these murderous children have no manners! Today is part two of kids who kill so BUCKLE UP. This episode will have you looking sideways at that creepy kid whose always making disturbing comments. Turns out, you actually can’t always chalk it up to a wild imagination.

Brandon is taking us to England where an argument about sneakers apparently turned south and ended with a mother slain by her own child. Jacqueline Bartlam, mother to Daniel and Dominic, was described as a sweet woman. People even described Daniel and Jacqueline as being close!

So why would her own child turn against her? Surely it wasn’t just because of a pair of shoes. Well, certain disturbing incidents (…pooping and peeing in super inappropriate places…), definitely pointed towards mental illness. But you’ll have to tune into the episode to find out what the verdict in Daniel’s case was!

Then, Kevin is introducing us to an iconic (demonic?) little girl named Mary Bell. Mary Bell and her creepy, gross friend Norma might bring the shining twins to mind. Mary Bell was taking her childhood trauma and inflicting it tenfold on the younger kids in the schoolyard. Four-year-old Martin Brown was found with an empty bottle of pills next to his body. Originally, his death was assumed to be an accident. Weird oversight considering Mary Bell actually strangled him!
