Ep. 181 - Old, Haggard and Dead

Hello lovelies, welcome back to 50 PLUS A TIP Podcast and Happy New Year! 💕

The ladies have returned to Canada! Danica learned how lush the fancy section of the plane is (equipped with her Christmas slippers, holiday movie & Baileys coffee), while Riley slept soundly in the peasant section of the plane.

Recapping their trip, Danica and Riley discuss the differences between catcalling in Australia vs Canada and have their usual book updates. Danica has read a total of 43 books in 2024 and is loving her kobo!! Riley is still embarrassed of her book selection and is learning how to put down books she’s not enjoying.

On the work side of things: Danica is falling for customers again (in the very literal sense) oops. Between sticking Chewing gum in a man’s pocket during a dance, spitting in drinks, getting paid double time, dancing for a very attractive couple, receiving back-hand compliments and actual compliments for having “amazing dental hygiene “ these “naughty b!tches” had a fabulous end to their year!

The episode (and year) wraps up with the hosts sharing their 2025 goals: Danica plans to start dating herself and romanticizing her life (trying new restaurants, lighting the good candles, etc.), while Riley’s resolutions include keeping better track of her spending habits, working more consistently and no more hate-reading books.
