Episode 269 | Love Is Blind (Feat. Clay)

Today we’re joined by the star of ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 6, Clay. We start with his signature toast and get right into the mess. After a brief recap of the sickest moments of the show & Clay’s red flags we get into his latest scandal…a “relationship” with Celina Powell (13:55). We discussed the TikToks she posted and the message from Clay’s mom. Then we get in our therapy bag and try to unpack this root of this relationship trauma, as well as how difficult it’s been to adjust to being held to the court of public opinion (38:50). Clay shares who on the show was really acting differently than how they were portrayed. This leads to Clay pressing Mal about dropping money bags under AD’s IG posts (51:05). We also find out that Clay was pressed by one of her exes. We cover how they oversexualized AD on the show and got the real story behind the “bean dip” joke (1:14:41). It’s time for voicemails. We saved some special ones for Clay to help respond (1:20:25). We address how to juggle two women at once and even get into racism in relationships. Tune in as the team and Clay cover all of the above + more! If you loved our episode with Clay he also stuck around for our upcoming Patreon (next Monday). Subscribe there for more ‘Love Is Blind’ details, to see him press Mal about Drake & Kendrick, Kel Mitchell’s current dilemma, and much more. https://www.patreon.com/newrorynmal
