A fine midweek puzzle, Jean aced it, Mike ... jokered it, temporarily hung up in the top center of the grid by a combination of hubris and poor spelling, a dangerous mixture. A debut Tuesday crossword by the youngest person ever to get published in the NYTimes, so congrats to Ailee Yoshida, who turns in a splendid Tuesday (regardless of age!).
