Christy Johnson - No Devil...Not Today

In this week's Podcast Our First Lady, Pastor Christy Johnson gives us an encouraging message on how we can shift our focus back on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Philippians 4:6 says this "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." In our current state in the world it's very easy for us to think on what is hard, what isn't going our way and what is to come next— but the Bible says very clearly to think on these things. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says "The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." When having thoughts that are overwhelming and anxiety-driven, question them and bring them to Christ. We encourage you to fight this week with worship, prayer and the word of God that has the POWER to break strongholds! We hope this message blesses you!
