Ben Killoy has been helping dads break the cycle and create a lasting feeling of change for the last 6 years. He helps them grow through generational trauma by redefining what it means to be alive. He is a certified dad and life coach. Ben grew up on a farm in Southern Wisconsin, right after high school he joined the marine corps, and then fought the hardest battle of his life which we will learn about today.

Agriculture is a unique profession for this conversation because a lot of our listeners currently work with, have worked with, or will be working with their parents or their kids. Some, as we have talked about before, may not get a chance to grow up professionally until they are near retirement. Others that are listening might be the people who aren’t letting their children grow up. How does this effect the individual’s ability to be a great role model?

• Work life balance gets discussed a lot, is balanced really mean 50/50?
• High performing dads are a “thing”
• Are some people busy on purpose?
• What does it mean to be busy?
• People can magically find time for things they want to do….. How do we make it to where we want to be with our kids/family?
• Can a dad be good in their career and be a good dad?

What if our listener isn’t a dad?
