Art Town is an upstate New York podcast hosted by Justin Baker. Each month, Baker engages in thoughtful conversations with regional artists and artisans, exploring their work, creative processes, and the lives they lead. This month’s guest, artist Paul Mauren, takes an improvisational approach to sculpture, blending conceptual strategies with traditional construction and structural innovation. His work explores contrasting imagery, creating tension and discovery, where animated forms and fragmented conclusions reflect the unpredictability of organic and constructed worlds. Insightful, intelligent, and grounded in the art world’s evolving narrative, Art Town is where regional voices find resonance. www.paulmauren.com Or follow him on instagram @paulmaurenstudio Theme music by Phantogram interlude sound by ESYEO "warming up" end credits by The Art Town Players Associate Producer Richard Garrison
