Here's why... Yes, excess protein can convert into gluconeogenesis inside the body (the creation of sugar), but, if you are in ketosis at the time of consuming the protein, the excess glucose will be used to replenish glycogen stores. This keeps you in a state of ketosis! How much protein converts to glucose? It's true, excess protein turns into glucose. How much protein converts to glucose levels? According to the research of Dr Gabrielle Lyon, about 60% of protein is converted into blood sugars. Will too much protein kick you out of ketosis? As I mentioned above, the excess is used to replenish empty sugar reserves. So the answer is no, most of the time. A common question I have been asked if eating too much protein will cause weight gain, the opposite is true. The next time someone asks you does eating too much protein make you fat, tell them it is almost impossible. I believe eating more protein can help you with weight loss. Protein is also great because it activates satiety hormones which helps you feel full for longer. Increasing Protein and Fat Will Put You at Risk for Heart Disease Science is showing us that it’s not protein that leads to heart disease, it’s the other stuff that we eat that can clog our arteries. 🎓 Join the Keto Kamp Membership for only $5!: http://www.startketokap.com / E P I S O D E S P ON S O R S PureForm Omega Plant Based Oils (Best Alternative to Fish Oil): http://www.purelifescience.com Use ben4 for $4.00 off. ☕️ Purity Coffee: http//:www.ketokampcoffee.com, use ketokamp at checkout for 10% off // R E S O U R C E S ➡️ Keto Kamp Membership for only $5: http://www.startketokamp.com ➡️The World's Best Olive Oil | Get a $39 Bottle For a $1: http://www.ketokampoliveoil.com ☕Healthiest Coffee: http://www.ketokampcoffee.com Use "ketokamp" for 10% off ➡️Keto Kamp Apparel: http://www.ketokampgear.com *Some Links Are Affiliates* // F O L L O W ▸ instagram | @thebenazadi | http://bit.ly/2B1NXKW ▸ facebook | /thebenazadi | http://bit.ly/2BVvvW6 ▸ twitter | @thebenazadi http://bit.ly/2USE0so Disclaimer: This podcast is for information purposes only.
