Tequila is a distilled spirit that is pure and clean. Plus, it comes from a plant. The problem with tequila is that it is 45% alcohol. Alcohol is not your friend; it has limited benefits in the right dosage in the right way. The more alcohol you drink, the more likely you will consume even more. [34:00] Natural Wine Is Always Organic or Biodynamically Grown The most significant hallmark of natural wine is it is always organic or biodynamically grown. Not all organic wines are natural; however, natural wines are always organic. Drinking organic wine is better than drinking non-organic wine. Biodynamic farming was developed in 1925 as an advanced form of organic farming. This type of farming will include harvesting based on the lunar cycle, and they create natural organic potions for the vines. [38:35] Natural Wine Is Always Fermented With Wild Indigenous Native Yeast The next hallmark of natural wine is that they are always fermented with wild indigenous native yeast. Commercial wines are always fermented with GMO lab-cultured yeast. You can't make commercial wines using wild native yeast because the yeast is too unstable, and it won’t work in large volumes. That’s why natural wine growers don’t have brand names; they can’t create enough wine using wild yeast.
