[13:43] Are you Exhausted? Don’t Push Yourself Too Hard; Learn to Stop, Rest, and Recover - Always pushing his body to its limit, John wrecks his body. But it was the path necessary for him to understand what true fitness and health is. - Everything is on a spectrum. Holistic health is the only way you'll be able to sustain high-performance levels. - If you want to be a high performer, you can't just focus on the aspects of working; you also have to focus on the aspects of recovery. [22:30] Your Body is Telling You Something, Listen to It Carefully - Take annual assessments. Many symptoms are so subtle that you may think it is just because you are aging. - There are unlimited tools that allow us to get insights into how our bodies are functioning. - If we can be proactive with monitoring our health indicators and use those numbers as a guide to our behavior patterns, we can begin to see what true health is. - When people can understand the proactive approach to living a healthy and fit life don't need the pharmaceuticals. - Know and understand your body. [34:15] Keep Calm and Take Deep Breaths to Clear Your Trapped Emotions - To deal with those trapped emotions, the first thing to do is to take a couple of deep breaths and realize that this situation is not what you perceive it to be. - As a group of people, we need to start understanding that we are in charge of our emotions. And we are not going to allow somebody to make us feel bad. - Breathing is like a language your central nervous system uses to speak. - It's all about slowing everything down and focusing on the moment. - If you're trying to be a high performer in any situation, you need a balanced nervous system because everything will work better. [51:30] Measure Your Heart Rate Variability Using the Best Biohacking Tool, Oura Ring - Instead of taking your phone after waking up in the morning, look at your Oura ring instead. - Sometimes, the activity score in the ordering is high, but you haven't done much because it's the right activity for where you are that day. - If your readiness score is low, you're supposed to take a rest day, which, according to the Oura ring, is less than 15 minutes of high-intensity exercise. - Just be aware of the scores and read them in the right way to take the most suitable action you need. - Sometimes, it is good not to listen to your body. If you can, cook your food to ensure that all healthy ingredients will go into your food. - Start to work one thing at a time, and then by six weeks, you're now layering all these things together, and it just becomes part of your lifestyle.
