742: Dogman Of The Corn

In episode 742: Dogman Of The Corn, Shane and "The Judge" from From The Shadows Podcast, share a bone-chilling account of an entity that stalked one of their daughters—night after night. It called itself "Wind." It appeared as a little boy with blonde hair and blue bibs, and it whispered through the baby monitor in a dead language no one could recognize. It wanted the child to go outside. In the snow. In the middle of the night. This wasn’t just a haunted house. Wind followed them across towns. Past locked doors. Into new bedrooms. When "The Judge" finally saw it with his own eyes, his daughter began speaking in something guttural, ancient, possibly Sumerian—and then Wind was gone. But not forever.

Years earlier, on a quiet country road flanked by cornfields, "The Judge" came face to face with a creature that shouldn’t exist. It ran through the rows—pacing him, mirroring every move—and when it stepped out, it stood tall like a man, with the head of a wolf and the build of a linebacker. No eye shine. No sound. Just intent. He escaped by seconds, diving into a friend’s pool, heart pounding and reality shattered. Decades later, he would learn the land was built on ancient burial mounds—and that others had seen it too.
